Sumycin
Indications:
Sumycin is used for many different infections including bacterial infections, respiratory tract infection (caused by Hemophilus influenzae. Streptococcus pneumoniae, or Mycoplasma pneumoniae), urinary and genital infections, skin infections, and stomach ulcers (caused by Helicobacter pylori).
How to take:
Sumycin is a capsule to take by mouth. It is usually prescribed by the doctor to be taken 2 to 4 times daily on an empty stomach. Each dose should be taken with a full glass of water. Never take Sumycin with food especially with cheese, milk, ice cream, yogurt and other dairy products. For more detailed information please consult with a specialist.
Precautions:
Before taking Sumycin, inform the doctor if you have allergies to tetracycline and other medications. Also tell the doctor the other medications that patient are currently taking including vitamins, supplements, antacids, anti coagulant and herbal products. Sumycin can decrease the effectiveness of these medications. This drug can make skin sensitive to sunlight.
